These graceful earrings, reminiscent of a dancer’s swirling skirt, are made with stone powder, usually granite or limestone, which is joined with a binder and then dyed. While gemologists might argue with our inclusion in the gemstone category, we liken this process to turning tufts of a cotton plant into a lovely piece of lace. Each bead, singular in both shape and shading, has a front and back side, as seen in the third picture. We have selected stones that truly complement each other, and each pair of earrings is unique. The stainless steel earwires are nickel-free and lead-free.
