We are Robinette Designs, a small business solely owned and operated by 2 sisters. Our intent is to create beautiful accessories for every woman’s wardrobe. Everything we sell has been handcrafted by us.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When a customer places an order with us, we request the customer’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We use this information to:

  • Set up the customer’s account for our store
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Send the customer information about their order
  • Respond to customer requests, including refunds and complaints
If the customer creates an account, we will store the customer’s name, address, email and phone number, which will then be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

Unless the customer opts out, the customer’s email address will be added to our Robinette Designs mailing list when they create an account. Customers on our mailing list will periodically receive emails about Robinette Designs promotions and craft shows where Robinette Designs will have a booth so that you can come see us. At any time, the customer can unsubscribe.

Credit card information is only stored at the customer’s request and only for their convenience.

Personal data is used only to process customer orders. It is never analyzed or shared with another party. At any time, the customer can delete their personal information from their account by logging in and going to My Account in the navigation bar at the top of every page.


Contact forms

When a customer contacts us via email, we keep that email for up to 7 days and then it is deleted. The email is only used to service the customer request. It is never used for marketing purposes.

Cookies

If a customer visits our login page, WooCommerce sets a temporary cookie to determine if the customer’s browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when the browser is closed.

When a customer logs in, WooCommerce sets up several cookies to save the customer’s login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If the customer selects “Remember Me”, login will persist for two weeks. If customer logs out of their account, the login cookies will be removed.

Robinette Designs uses cookies to create customer wishlists and to keep track of cart contents while the customer is shopping with us. They are not analyzed by Robinette Designs or shared with another party.

While a customer is browsing our website, we track the products that the customer views. This data is used to show the customer recently viewed products and is deleted when the customer leaves our site.

How long we retain your data

The only personal data we retain is the customer’s account information provided in their user profile and purchase order records. If the customer deletes their account, all personal data is deleted.

We do not send or share your data with anyone!

How we protect your data

The customer’s data is only accessible by the 2 sisters who own this business. Our website is SSL certified and the customer’s data is encrypted and protected by SSL technology.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive any data from third parties, including advertisers.

Payments

We accept payments through the Intuit Payment Gateway. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Intuit, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
